No injuries in related Interstate 480 accidents in Twinsburg

A two-car collision was reported at 7:11 a.m. when a truck lost a wheel and crashed into another vehicle approximately 1/8 mile from the Route 91 exit ramp, according to Twinsburg police Sgt. Tom Mason. While responding to the initial collision, a second accident occurred at the same location immediately after the initial accident. The second accident involved between five and six vehicles that failed to slow down in time to avoid the first accident’s backed up traffic. Both accident scenes were cleared of debris by 8:44 a.m. and traffic was slowed for about 30 minutes, Mason said.

Injuries reported in car accident on HWY 163/County Rd. 618

(WHAS11) — Police are looking for the car involved in an accident with a school bus Tuesday morning, Dec. 17. Police say a red Chevy car driven by a black male hit a JCPS bus with the number 0787 around 8:30 a.m. at Montana and Lillian avenues. The bus was headed to Semple Elementary School. There were 15 people on board the bus. No injuries were reported. The bus had minor damage.

Thats the finding of InsuranceQuotes.com, an insurance shopping company that surveyed how much a drivers premiums rise after one accident. Car insurance premiums for Californian rise by an average of 62% after a single claim, according to the report. Thats the second-steepest hike in the country. Nationally, drivers pay an average of 38% more for car insurance after making a single claim. Residents of Massachusetts pay the largest increase, 67%. New Jersey is third after California with a 59% rise.
