Crews clear four-car accident in Evans
More recently, Ryan Dunn, star of the Jackass movies, was killed in a crash in Pennsylvania in 2011. Dunn was believed to have been driving his Porsche at around 130 mph when he lost control of the vehicle, killing himself and a friend who was traveling with him. Other celebrities, including Paul Walker, were not behind the wheel when their tragic accidents occurred. In 1967, a driver was transporting actress Jayne Mansfield, her boyfriend, and three of her children from a nightclub performance in Biloxi, Mississippi to New Orleans, Louisiana. Their Buick Electra collided with a truck, killing Mansfield, the driver, and her boyfriend. Fortunately, the kids survived, one of whom grew up to become a famous actress herself: Mariska Hargitay.

Images MORGAN — A sheriff’s deputy was involved in a car crash Monday night that briefly sent a woman to an Ogden hospital. Morgan County Sheriff Blaine Breshears confirmed the 9 p.m. traffic accident involved a patrol car and another vehicle at 100 S. State St. in Morgan. “To the best of my knowledge she was treated and released,” Breshears said of the woman, likely a teenager, who was a passenger in the other vehicle. He said he did not have full details since, per policy, an outside agency was investigating the crash, in this case the Utah Highway Patrol. Breshears said although speeds were not believed to be excessive, damage to both vehicles was extensive. Injuries were not life-threatening to the woman or the deputy, the sheriff said.
