Hamilton Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In River Line Train Crash In Trenton That Killed Her Husband

(Alex Zdan /The Times) Follow on Twitter on December 23, 2013 at 3:58 PM TRENTON The Hamilton woman critically injured two weeks in a crash with a River Line train in Trenton that killed her husband has died from her injuries, officials said today. Constance English was riding in the passenger seat of a car driven by her husband, Herman English, on Lalor Street just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 when the car was struck by the train, which is operated by NJ Transit. Herman English, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene. Constance English wad extricated from the wreck and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. Amid heavy snowfall, the car crossed into the path of the oncoming train, against warning signals, a spokeswoman for NJ Transit said following the crash.

REPORTS: Akron Assistant Head Coach Alan Arrington Passes Away Following Car Accident

No injuries were reported in a minor crash involving a sheriff’s deputy in Osceola County on Monday morning, officials said. According to the Florida Highway Patrol , the crash happened in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store on Seven Dwarfs Lane at U.S. Highway 192 about 8:25 a.m. Monday. A sheriff’s spokeswoman said a driver backed into the deputy’s car. FHP spokeswoman Trooper Wanda Diaz confirmed that the deputy was not at fault in the crash.

No injuries in patrol car crash in Osceola

Her vehicle traveled backward, through the intersection of Main Avenue and Highway 34, and continued on the south side of Main. Jones hit a pickup owned by Pearl Gasser parked in front of the Akron Laundromat. Gasser had parked and she and her passenger had walked across the street to eat lunch. When Jones hit the pickup, it turned the pickup around, and it now faced Relaxations Salon & Spa. A deputy from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department issued a ticket for careless driving to Jones. The air bags were not not deployed on either vehicle.

Accident leaves motorcyclist with serious injuries

Officers shut down Vista del Sol between George Dieter Drive and Bernard Kern Drive for more than 2 hours. El Paso police tell KFOX14 that the call about the accident came in just before 2 a.m. Monday. Paramedics at the scene found the motorcyclist with several fractures. El Paso police say the victim was wearing a helmet, but the helmet came off during the accident. The man was rushed to Del Sol Medical center, but his current condition is unknown. El Paso police are still investigating to see what caused the accident. Police tell KFOX14 it might have been caused by a possible hit-and-run, but they have not confirmed that at this time. During the investigation, a man was arrested at the scene for driving through police barricades. El Paso police said the man was taken into custody was under the influence of alcohol and almost hit an officer during the investigation.
