Los Angeles Police confirmed that they were investigating a solo-vehicle accident involving the 57-year-old entertainer. The Celebrity Apprentice winner was not injured and he was not arrested. The accident, in which the Coming to America star ran his vehicle off the road, was reported around 7:15 p.m. near West Hills Hospital in the West San Fernando Valley. No other motorists were involved.

In a gruesome Christmas Eve nightmare, a volunteer firefighter responding to a car crash in a small New Hampshire town tried to help the victim only to find the woman was his daughter, and she was dying. Steve Whitcomb arrived on the scene where his daughter Katie Hamilton of Brookline, N.H., died in the horrific crash that pushed her SUV into oncoming traffic, police said. Three cars were involved in the accident in Brookline, cops said. Sarah Whitcomb via Facebook Hamilton, 30, leaves behind three children. The 58-year-old dad is left to mourn his daughter, herself a mother of three children, over the holiday. Whitcomb worked with his daughter as a plumber, as well as volunteering as a firefighter in his spare time, the Nashua Telegraph reported . The Los Angeles Police Department told NBC News that Hall drove off the road at 7:15 p.m. PT in the West San Fernando Valley. Hall hosts “The Arsenio Hall Show,” which returned in September after an original run from 1989 to 1994.
