Reporter: POLICE TELL US THE WITNESS TRIED TO CONVINCE THE WOMAN TO GET BACK INTO HER CAR, BUT OFFICERS SAY SHE REFUSED. MOMENTS LATER, THE DRIVER OF THIS IMPALA WAS SEEN HEADING TOWARD THEM. Reporter: SHE WAS STANDING OUTSIDE HER VEHICLE AND THE IMPALA STRUCK HER CAR, WHICH THEN STRUCK HER AND THREW HER FURTHER INTO THE FREEWAY. Reporter: THE IMPACT WAS TOO MUCH FOR HER TO BEAR. UNFORTUNATELY, SHE DIED AT THE SCENE. ACCORDING TO DETECTIVES, THEY DO HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THE DRIVER OF THE IMPALA MAY HAVE BEEN INTOXICATED. THIS IS ALL STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. Arsenio Hall Uninjured in Minor Car Accident

The attack on the Berlin store marks the seventh such attack this year in the city, according to the report in Berlin-based Bild, a daily tabloid newspaper. Apple’s stores have become a target in recent years of U.S. attacks aimed at the upscale electronics retailer, with some of the bold smash-and-grab heists captured in videos on YouTube. The attacks underline the growing currency of Apple’s wares sold as stolen merchandise. Thieves in the Berlin attack used a stolen Opel Corsa to smash into the Apple store window, according to Bloomberg, and took off in two Audis. Thieves stole about $137,000 worth of merchandise in a heist at Berlin’s Alexa shopping mall earlier this month.

A man died in a single-vehicle crash in

Sgt. Russell Carr tells City News Service that Hall lost control of his Porsche and drove into a dirt shoulder at around 7:15 p.m. Monday in West Hills. The car had to be towed. Carr says it’s unclear why Hall lost control of the car but police have ruled out driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Woman dies after being hit by a car

(Dec. 24, 2013) Galleries Traffic map, cameras A man died in a single-vehicle crash in North Babylon Tuesday night, Suffolk police said. A police spokesman said authorities received the call about the accident at 7:52 p.m., but no further details were available late Tuesday. A photo from the scene shows the four-door sport utility vehicle resting diagonally across the guardrail between the service road and Sunrise Highway, the front of the car badly smashed and its windshield crushed.
