Animal Control Car Crashes Into Home, Police Believe Alcohol Was Involved

New information released in Beach teen’s fatal car crash

Doing this damage that they did to our property the only thing you can do is be mad, said Mike Barber, whose home on East Showalter Lane was severely. The tire tracks help tell the story, showing the path that one truck took into the front yard and onto the front porch of this family’s home. It was a fight or flight response and I saw the headlights coming toward the window and barely had any time to think and just had to move. After ensuring his family was safe, Barker went outside to get a better look and was shocked when he saw whole the truck was registered to. It was an animal control vehicle. Georgetown Police confirm that an animal control employee was involved in the wreck but they’re still unsure if the employee was the one driving. Barker says whoever was driving tried to flee after the accident. After she hit the house, she put the car in reverse and ended up on top of my mailbox in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, the Barker’s two cars were also in the way during the truck’s crash course. My wifes car is probably totaled. My truck suffered damage as well. He says about 30-40 thousand dollars worth of damage was done to the home and now he just hopes whoever was driving that night steps up to the plate and takes responsibility for the accident.

Fatal car crash off 250-foot Oregon Coast cliff

Troopers believe Luckenbill was a passenger in a car that was street racing. According to the report, State Police had responded to another crash on I-64, which caused traffic to come to a stop on the highway. Because it was going down to one lane, traffic was super congested, because people were waiting until the last minute to merge. I had to hit my breaks kind of hard to make the stop in time, driver Andrew Drapkin told 13News Now Wednesday. Drapkin said it was hard for him to stop for backed-up traffic having just come over a hill. I was going 55 and I had to break kind of hard, said Drapkin. I was at a complete stop and I looked in the rear view mirror and I just see headlights coming up the shoulder, and then the next thing I know, my car got hit.” Drapkin was rear-ended in the crash. Initially, Luckenbill’s mother thought street racing may have played a part in the crash. Others disputed those claims on Facebook. Although police reports show the car Luckenbill was riding in was speeding, Drapkin said he doesnt think thats what caused the accident. It definitely had more to do with the fact that it was backed up and right over a hill, rather than the fact that anybody may or may not have been racing, said Drapkin.
